Corporate Shows

Most of the musicians in Riyaaz Qawwali have full-time jobs, employed in oil & gas, in healthcare, and even higher education. They are all too familiar with corporate expectations and the demands that of such an environment. We can relate to the 9 to 5 grind.  So, corporations have used us to:

  1. Create harmony Within– Using this art, we can bridge cultural barriers within teams and tangibly explain what diversity is. Given the political climate, we can also speak to the racism being experienced, how similar we as people really are and elevate the conversation.

  2. Celebrate Eid, Diwali or Holi– Corporations can use our ensemble as the main attraction at their holiday parties, designed to celebrate any Hindu, Sikh, or Muslim festivals.

  3. Understand an emerging customer base– Other corporation have used our music and performances to help their brand or their employees understand a growing customer-base of South Asian Americans. This minority is the fastest growing population in the United States. They account for a large number of affulent people, including doctors, lawyers, engineers and business owners.

  4. Expand out to India / Pakistan / Sri Lanka– Finally, South Asia (India, Pakistan Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and even Afghanistan) is a densely populated area of the world. Corporations are using our showcases to expand their brand’s reach to South Asia.
